This happens on Linux Mint 13 but it&#8217;s not an issue for Windows. So this is not hardware issue.<\/p>\n<p>I checked lot of posts, bugs and manuals, but only one happened. Here it is:<br \/>\n<!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>Edit alsa configuration:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: bash; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\">sudo vi \/etc\/modprobe.d\/alsa-base.conf<\/pre>\n<p>and add there line:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: plain; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\">options snd-hda-intel model=auto probe_mask=1<\/pre>\n<p>Then run alsamixer and set &#8220;Auto-Mute Mode&#8221; to &#8220;Enabled&#8221;:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/catyellow.net\/blog\/2013\/01\/09\/error-headphones-and-speakers-playing-together-on-linux-mint\/alsamixer\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-102\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/catyellow.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/alsamixer-300x168.png\" alt=\"alsamixer\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-102\" srcset=\"https:\/\/catyellow.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/alsamixer-300x168.png 300w, https:\/\/catyellow.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/alsamixer-1024x573.png 1024w, https:\/\/catyellow.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/alsamixer.png 1423w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It works!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have an issue when headphones and speakers on my Acer Aspire 7720ZG are playing together.
